Nope, Street Fighter and Real Street are the only two classes that allow an auto V8. Bruce Hemminger is coming from Midwest in his nitrous 5 speed mustang to run in Wild Street and Ashley in her GSX car should be two of the domestic front runners in Wild Street running mid to low 9s.

(Street fighter) So for a auto 400ci. LS powered car you are limted to a 76mm single turbo and weigh 3400lbs. You can have a 6 cylinder with up to a 91mm turbo and no min. weight..........I hope some GNXs show up and *** rape some folks, cause the LS platform aint going to do it like that.
Yeah, the 91mm supras weigh in at 3600lbs and they have to drive with a manual transmission. i wish you guys could understand all of the combos and what they really are.
The LS car you asked about is 200lbs lighter than a supra and they can run an auto transmission, which goes a long way in drag racing!

Good rules are a hard road. We try our best. Considering that an 88mm Mustang at 3550lbs in NMRA runs 7.9s on BFG radials, I dont think we are too far off trying to keep Street Fighter in the mid to upper 8s. But you are right, there are certain combos that are a better pic than others. We generally try to find a target ET range for a class and decipher rules to fit that ET. We do favor all manual tranny cars (import or domestic), by a tenth or so over the automatic, to keep parity.
