It'll probably be awhile. I'm starting on my 70 Chevy shortbed with a 5.3/turbo swap and the girlfriends 6.0 LQ9 Camaro SS motor build. Good luck hitting the 9's man, you dan close.

I don't see why not either. I personally wouldn't run the 235's on a 4.00" bore so 225's would be my choice, but Ron at Vengance does it all day long with great results. Have Pat G sped you a cam and I don't see why a 402 can't make 520.

I would try a lighter rocker like a jesel. Pretty sure you are getting valve float past 6600, I've seen this happen often with yella terras and stainless steel valves.

Yeah my small head, small cam 402 made 517.3 rwhp and 513.8 rwtq. The 225's would've helped me pickup PEAK, but my motor was built with 2000-5800 rpms in mind, and everything else it did was basically a bonus. I wanted LOW END grunt to make street driving fun, and enough up top to do well at the track. High 120's maybe even a 130 on a good night. Who knows until I make it to the track.

PRAY, you got a beast, any updates since you posted so long ago? Did you do anything to the valvetrain, how did the cutouts go ??

I had to sell the car in November man. (long drawn out story) The guy still hasn't picked it up. I never got the finish it. I am sure it would have gone over 600rw and trapped 140+ in good weather all said and done. The guy that bought it said he was going to finish it up with 3.90's, a cut out and nitrous. If he can drive it should be interesting. I can't think of his screen name right now. If he does any thing with it I will try to post updates.

I see that your motor is done. How are you likeing it? I found a table in the tune that directly effects throttle response. My car is an absolute monster now. Most tuners don't know about it or don't try to mess with it. I call it the Violence and put it into my customers cars if they want it. If Lou or your self want to give it a wack just let me know.

Brett, I appreciate the offer and I will ask them about it.

As far as my car, I should pick it up and drive home in a few weeks. Can't get the time off from work and anyways, I've waited this long, whats another couple weeks. Another thing, I was really hoping the 1 7/8 headers would've been available. They were going to test a set I believe and who knows what else. Too bad only the c6z stuff is available. Let me shoot Anthony an email.

I want to know about the Violence... pm me! O and these numbers make me want to stick to NA and just add some cubes in stead of boost...seems simpler due to less parts.
