408 Stroker/TFS 235/Vengeance Custom Cam/A4 Dyno Results
Finished this car up late last week. Customer is in Iraq serving our country for a few more months, but he seems pleased with the results so far
Customers car came to us with the 408 already installed by another shop. Customer told us he was running mid/high 7s in the 1/8 and wanted a 6.90 car NA.. I thought a decently built 408 would put him in the 6.90 range no problem.... Well, lets just say his 408 build was "less than stellar".. Baseline #s came in at 360/323 unlocked. Graph is below. We initially thought something was wrong with the engine so we did compression/leakdown. Both showed fine. So we tore into the top end and everything checked out fine there also.
What came off.... LS6 CNC ported heads/camshaft/rockers/PaceSetter Headers/LS6 Intake
What went on.... TrickFlow 235cc CNC Cylinder Heads/Vengeance Custom Camshaft/FAST 92mm Ported by Vengeance/Kooks 1 7/8 Longtubes with ORY/Yella Terra Ultra Lites/Comp 850-16 Lifters/Sent Vigilante Converter back to be freshened up/Tightened up a bit (Adding nitrous shortly ) 42lb Injectors/Vengeance Tuning...
Forgot to mention we added a Strange S60 to support the new power!!!!
Below is the graph as it came in unlocked Vs TrickFlow/Vengeance Top End
We locked up the new combo once tuning was completed for a final # of 503/456!!!! Needless to say I think our customer will be getting his 6.90 NA passes when he returns along with some low 6s on the juice

nice results ron he will be pleased..what size stall with that combo?
How does those heads line up with a ported fast intake? I have your ported 90/90 and thinking about using those heads on a build similar to this in the future,and would like to use my fast

sweet # but i would think they would be higher with your combo's! hell yall tuned omar's car in hawaii with stock 346 block with yalls setup and got 500whp with a a4? Yall aslo tuned larrys 408 with cheap heads.
