MTI Stealth II cam+Stage II LS6 heads makes 422.7 RWHP!

Thats is cool, I was thinking about that cam combined with 382 all stroke setup from lunati. With all that stroke i would think that it does not like to rev. And since this cam makes alot of power down low(or that is the impression im getting) it would complement the lunati 382 crank.

Are you going to dyno your car anytime soon?
BTW, I scanned the dyno sheets and sent them to Tony to put up. I should have them up shortly.

With a small to moderate shot? Just fine.
Going BIG on the nitrous? You'll want more exhaust duration.

To get a little more specific about that question. This is a subjective question so these are just my views...
For a small shot (say, 125 or less) I think it would do great to make the most power from your nitrous by creating higher cylinder pressures. Very little overlap helps with this.
With a moderate shot (150-175) I think it would work ok but you're starting to need more exhaust flow. You're not really that serious about your nitrous performance if this is all the nitrous you're running so it's not a big deal, IMO.
With a large shot (200+) you're seriously being limited by the small exhaust duration and you're obviously serious about making alot of power so, go alot bigger on the exhaust side.

Who are you talking to?

Where can we see the dyno sheets that tony posted up?

Ahh, yeah, ok. That didn't really make a whole lot of sense to me by you asking, "Are you going to dyno your car anytime soon?", since that's EXACTLY what this thread is about...my dyno numbers!
Read my third post up from this one.
"Ok, dyno sheets are up."
They're in my original post in this thread.

After reading all your posts with a microscope, you seem to be running 3.23 gears and something called "Femera" double springs. I think you should put all your mods/setup in the original post (or your sig)--it will help others read what this means.
As far as the graphs, thanks for posting, that's great, but the first two are hard to read. I for one can't convert MPH to RPM on the fly. Do you have one like the third one, that goes past 6k, or another version of the first two that have rpm not mph?

I wish I had one with RPM that went past 6000. I'm going to ask Jayson if he has one next time we talk.
My mods have pretty much been told already. All of the normal bolt-ons, this H/C package, and a 3500 stall with drag radials.
I'll be glad to post a detailed list though (I've done this many times so it'll just be a matter of digging it up.)

Colonel what kind of power do you think I would make with the new MTI 2E heads (economic heads) and the MTI Stealth II cam.? Would you recommend the springs you put on yours. Your article on your setup had me rethinking instead of going with a bigger cam. Great writeup and please give some input on this combination. Cheers......

Re: MTI Stealth II cam+Stage II LS6 heads makes 422.7 RWHP!
Sorry fellas, been at Panama City Beach for Thunder Beach Bike Week since Thursday.
"Colonel what kind of power do you think I would make with the new MTI 2E heads (economic heads) and the MTI Stealth II cam.? Would you recommend the springs you put on yours."
I think it'll make within 5 RWHP with the new E heads. I would have gone with the E heads except that I plan on upgrading to a larger CI engine sometime within the next year or two.
I like the dual springs best, especially if you're getting heads at the same time. These springs are almost failproof and I really like that peace of mind with a daily driver. I'm NOT saying the single springs aren't really good-they are. But the duals are certainly better.
"OK, what do you think would result from a cam like this(for Nitrous use): .581/.588 224*/228* @116*lsa. Car will have AS S2 heads, lS6 intake, Kook's long tubes, Bauer TB, ASP pulley, TSP lid, and a NX 200 wet shot."
I REALLY like that idea. Sounds like something I would do.

BTW, when I said it would make within 5 RWHP with the E heads, I meant with LS6 E heads. Make it LS1 E heads and you'll drop another 10 RWHP, IMO.
