Im well into the 9s with DCR, SCR is ~ high 11s, I need to look up the build sheet again, I dont recall piston dish. I like flat tops though. and the heads are 58cc. I cleaned them up one pass before they went back on.

Advance is still 24-26* on pump

Oh, this is still through an 85mm MAF too... theres 15 going to an LS7 maf, or more going SD...........................

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I am going to have to call and ask the boys at LGM. I wasn't planning on having a car with that kind of compression. Maybe the pistons don't come flush with the block, whats that called when the piston is at TDC and is still in the hole ?? Sorry if I sound stupid, its late and my memory is bad. I know I read about when pistons ATDC are out of the cylinder it raises compression, and when they are still in the cylinder ATDC they lower compression.

Well Louis reading this, it sounds like last year when you had a few surprises for me and my motor before I picked it up. I appreciated your generosity last year and will again this year. Hook it up, I don't mind being LGM's poster child. LOL. I won't bug you about what you got planned, just do it brother. Can't wait to see what your ideas do for the final numbers.

If you go SD will I have any issues driving the car in June/July/Aug VS Oct/Nov with the major weather changes Michigan offers ??

Dont worry about it. All you have to do is drive it This baby will LOVE pump fuel, thats its job! You dont make this power with a 205 and a medium cam with out maxing out every other aspect of the build. CR, Cam timing, exhaust, intake, TB, it all adds up

Ill only go SD for a dyno number. The MAF is so much nicer to tune with sending cars cross country. SD is better in the end, but it takes a lot of time, and then when you are done, spend some more time on it

Itll give you a "next mod" if there are any left

I'm sure Louis got you covered. Also wouldn't worry if comp is that high.We have a few 12-1+ comp 408's out there and have a ton of miles on them just running pump gas.High comp. motors make some serious power, drive excellent, can easilly run smaller cams while making big power.Just have to watch the tune.I ussually run 18-20 degree's of timing on ours and make comparable power but timing goes around H/C design.

That much torque in a light car (lighter than f-body's) with 3.42 gears is going to be fun. Higher gears and that much torque is a waste unless you're at the track with sticky tires. That thing is going to pull like a freight train.

Gosh damn, with all that torque in that light car --- you got twice as many gears as you can use!!
