Tracy has already modified the tps and accuator, and it should be at LGM today or tomorrow. Hopefully they will have time to swap the tb's and tweak the tune. I'm sure Louis is curious to see what the larger TB will do. Stay tuned !!

Forget the haters who say you should go with bigger heads and cam... with that much torque and the low weight, it's a fun fun street car. It's even better with the 3.42s in there.

3.42s are great for highway pulls

Thanks guys. I just wanted something that would pull from idle like my 346 pulled from 3500 rpms to the rev limiter. I also didn't want another motor that I had to rev the hell out of to make serious power. The new 402 has more power everywhere. Especially at 4000 rpms +60 rwhp and + 75 rwtq !! Now thats what makes this build worth it. Shift at 5500 rpms and save the valvetrain............

Theres another guy on here that is considering re using a set of afr 205's on his new motor. Only difference is he's building a 454. In my opinion that's a little more then the 205's can handle but they will make a **** load of torque with all those cubes.

I think the 205's on a 454 would be a leathal combo for downlow torque. Hell, it's not going to do anyworse than what you've got.

Seriously, how much torque and power do you really need on the street before it becomes undrivable.

Won't work. They only have the drive by cable TB's for the F bodies. Rev X and Nick Williams are the only ones I know that do the DBW TB's.

That's not what I was referring to. LOL. Its a little deeper then that as to why I won't be asking TSP for anything.

Sorry Doug,

I need to get my speed reading class money back.

BTW: I've got a PowrMAF 100mm MAF on the bench now - going on when the FAST comes out for my heads.

I hope when Louis gets back from ALMS practice in Sebring that he'll take some time to swap TB's from the stock ls2 tb to the REV Xtreme 95 mm tb. I am sure he will. Hopefully by Saturday or maybe Monday depending on how busy it is. Cmon Louis, I know you are dying to see how much more power this motor is going to make. Mikey sure did a good job putting the motor together.

BTW great job on the car so far, and I love the video you guys put up on the website, and on youtube. Now how about a burnout showing off the linelock ??

Hoping the larger tb (rev 95mm vs gm ls2) will make a few more ponies.

Just waiting on business at the shop to slow down a bit so Louis has some time to swap my ls2 90 for the Rev Xtreme Billet 95mm tb and retune then dyno. Hopefully he's got a larger MAF laying around the shop and throw that on there too. Hint Hint Hook it up Louis.......................Whenever you get time Louis, I know its busy down there.

We were talking about MAFs not TBs
