Hmm so FI in the future possibly, now its not so fuzzy. That thing would be insane especially with a new TVS blower.

Great car, amazing build.....CONGRATS!

And how do you handle those nasty Detroit metro roads in a lowered car?

FI is only a possibility when you have a forged motor. I think having all the extra hp/tq from idle is going to take a little getting used to. As far driving a lowered vette in Detroit, I know what roads to take, and what roads to stay off of. I'll literally drive out of my way 15 mins to avoid certain areas for more reasons then just the roads.

That is a killer setup. Also good to see you using the 205's and still makeing those numbers. I'm a big fan of LG's work also. Great job Louis.

I'd like to build a 402 or 403 on the next one for my drag car. It is nice to know I could reuse my 205's for it.

Seems like the larger runner heads make more hp up top when coupled with a larger cam, but my smallish cam (in a 402 anyways) coupled with the afr 205's made pretty good hp and excellent torque. Other larger runner heads with smallish cams have also made more power up top then what my 205's did but sacrificed the torque number considerably. To me 30 rwtq is considerable.

Nice #. You will have a great time for sure.. I'm interested in what you will trap NA. What is the compression? Intake?

For a street car, a light(er) one at that, I don't think you would ever need more torque or power than you'll have.

500 ft/lbs of torque is a beautiful thing. Who needs to wind a motor past 4000 rpm when a gear shift puts you back at 450+ ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. Granted, I'm not talking about drag racing here people, so don't get worked up.

I like the fact that it's a back to back comparison of what 56 extra cubes gets you using the same heads, cam, headers, intake.

Good points. Just a small bit of clarification. The old intake was a ported 90 combo, the new stuff is a ported 92 from Ron at Vengeance that was opened to 95mm's to make use of a 95mm tb from Tracy at RevXtreme. Due to issues with the 95mm tb, it was sent back and dynos were done using an ls2 90mm. As soon as the 95 mm comes back it will be swapped on and tuning tweaked so we can get some FINAL numbers.

On the 4000 rpm shifts, yes a lot better then winding it close to 7 grand to feel all the power. The power under the curve on the 402 is amazing. Can't wait to feel it in person. All I have is comments from Louis on how it pulls HARD, so get ready. I want some seat time, instead of ear time. LOL.

Back to the comparison, same car, with the same heads, cam, and bolt ons. A little tweak (update) of the intake (ported 90 to ported 92) not much of a difference at all and the numbers speak for themselves. Hoping that there is a little more power in her, just going to have to wait and see.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

your gonna love it. even when a 346 and 402 make the same peak HP Tq the bigger makes you smile when you roll into the gas.
for the longest time I thought my 383 was slower than the 346. The power was spread out more so it didn't feel like it was as strong. HAHA that changed when I finally got it to the track
If I had a job I would buy the 90 from you
