Nice numbers man! I need to dyno tune soon, i hope my numbers match yours. Add a LS6 manifold and you'll easily break 350rwhp.

that's probably gonna be the next mod, debating pulleys too at some point. i wanted to wait til i was done with everything to get a tune but i needed the codes deleted and the tune was only 75 bucks more so i figured hey why not.

gonna be a while before i can afford anything though haha

Just get a good tranny cooler and you'll be fine.

yeah i've thought it over a bunch of times. realistically i just don't have the money to fix it if it blows. i'm gonna try to save most of my money now and if it blows under "regular use" in the future(18 year old with no torque management hehe) i'll upgrade to a built trans that can handle it reliably.

if it blows in the next 6 months though i'm screwed hahah

I think the LS6 is overrated but that's just me. Before I added it, I dyno'd 328 on a similar temp day....

The SOTP feel was almost nonexistant, I felt more from my ported TB

yeah i've read about a lot of people gaining less than 10hp from ls6's. i almost did that before headers but now i'm thinking about just putting that off until wayyy down the road.

yeah no **** lol. now i really dont want to get one anymore haha. only thing is i bet you will gain more once you put a cam in, which i will be doing eventually. so its not a terribly idea actually.

if you have plans of a cam it's definitely worth it, but i'm probably never going to get that far so $300 for 10 or even 15hp really isn't all that tempting.

I'm in your same boat. I'm 17 and if something happens I am more than screwed. Especially when my parents don't have credit anymore!!

i put a stall in my car at 91k no problems at all. . . just use a good size trans cooler. . . if you decide to stall it go bigger than you think though, i went 2800 should have gone 3200-3600 range but im going M6 soon anyways.

the ls6 intake is a good choice when you get a cam, with basic bolt-ons it wont do a lot but with a cam you notice it!

Boys and girls, get a good stall with a trans cooler (with fan) and i promise you it will do more for you than any other mod. It isn't that bad for the trans as long as it stays cool.

I went with a 4000 and love every tire burning second of it.

Look at what it did to an M6 GTO in my sig.

BTW with that stall, dont expect your car to be a dyno queen, my did 313 rwhp on a full bolton tuned. haha Numbers are just numbers

agree'd best mod i bought, well its tied with the spray! i did lose a good amount of hp with the stall, but i have some damn good wins vs. some cars with a lot more hp then me!

I wouldn't even bother with the LS6. Just save your $$$$ for a Fast 90/90. If you get the LS6 you will probably end up wanting the Fast later on. So many people get the LS6 and then later on upgrade to the Fast. Buy once. I learned that lesson long ago.
