The car is 100% stock no tune or any mods at all. I did this so that I could get a base line number and make a pass at the track stock. Next we will dyno tune it and head back to the track to check the differance. I wanted to track this car step by step.

why not just tune it now that way when you go to the track you can just flash between stock and tuned that way you'll have consistent track conditions?

Sounds like the same mindset that I like to take with my cars

I didnt want any thing hooked to the car at all that people would want to bash my numbers on the base run. I guess one step at a time.

very understandable, just a friendly suggestion. good luck and keep us updated. I plan on selling my vette and getting a G8. I'm gonna shoot for 11's with an intake, tune, DR's and my wet kit.

Default Made It To State Capital Raceway 3/1/2009

Pass #1.............#2...............#3

Car# 69..............69...............69

60' 1.979............1.966...........1.984

330' 5.639...........5.644...........5.705

1/8 8.664............8.671...........8.764

MPH 81.75...........81.68...........80.94

1000' 11.243.......11.244..........11.359

1/4 13.404..........13.406..........13.549

MPH 104.27.........104.33..........102.09

My time slips are on my my-spase page except my second run, they gave me the yellow copy and the camera wont take a good picture of it. So now that I have my base dyno and track times I will dyno tune the car and head back to the track. If I pick up 20 or so in the tune and have good weather again like today should be an impressive run for tune only.

Well I am sure once you tune out all the crap and let that motor run like it can, your times will go down and your trap will go up. Thanks for putting out so much step by step, or mod by mod info. We got a great baseline on the dyno and the track. Going to help a lot of people decide about whether or not to buy one of these bad boys. Can't wait to see how your car responds to mods.

We are working on the first list of mods now, I want to order the exhaust now due to the cost. Most expensive mod on list, but will tune first then CAI.
