New dyno results from a header change

"7hp and 5tq is about what I would expect to see on a Stock cubed motor with a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 swap. I don't think it has much to do with brand."
I would be interested in the differences between the collectors of the two headers. That might have more of an inpact than the size of the primary tubes.

here is the latest update from getting a couple of the springs tested. I'll just copy and paste what Jonathan told me.
I just got a couple of springs off and tested and they deffinately have issues. The springs look like the typical .650" lift springs from patriot or TSP and should check 140 lbs. @ 1.800". Anyway, the first one checked out fine, and actually had 145 lbs. @ 1.780 which is how they were installed. The other one however came in at only 120 lbs. @ 1.780. If you stand them up beside each other you can litterally see that it is a little shorter that the one that checked good.
I will say these definitely have less than 5k miles, probably more like 3k miles. He also said if you stood the two next to each other, one was almost an 1/8th inch shorter. WTF!

If you floated them, that can account for what you are seeing for difference in the springs that were removed as this will cause irreparable damage. I would either go PAC duals or take a hard look at the PAC 1518's with titanium retainers to get some mass out of the valve side of the valve train.

We'll see what happens once it gets here. We are going to dyno with the new spring and retainers with the stock rockers and see how it does. If it all checks out ok we are going to try the yella terras and see how she does. Lets hope this works out and lets the car eat up top.

It's been a week so hopefully things are back together again. What happened, what are the results!?
My car is with Alvin right now. Got dropped off last night and my builder said they were working on another vette when he left...wonder if that was yours?
I'm really anxious to see how my car performs since it was nearly stock before and now its had h/c full intake and LT headers.
Oh, and I'm runnning the PAC 1518s on the AFR heads. Hopefully you'll have good luck with your springs too.
