Not actual, that's what the display said. Actual mpg on the h/c 346 was 30 or better on trips.

Thanxs goat. I looked at my mpg's again and I don't know what I did wrong but I was getting a little over 25 mpg's going 70 to 80 mph not 20. Not bad for 4.10's and 80 mph.

25 mpg is what the display says correct ?? If so take about 8-10 % off for real numbers. Either way not bad at all for all that power and 4.10 gears !!

My bad. Don't camaros have any kind of display? I've never been in a camaro. The last car I drove was 2000 Ram air T/a, I hated it so I spent the extra money on a corvette. I just assumed all the newer cars had displays for your engine info, temp, oil pressure, oil temp, and several other bits of info.

Either way 25 mpg in that car is great !!!

Damn Ron, I can't afford it either. Why do you think I am still driving the same car back and forth to work since 1995 ?? The other reason is she runs like brand new and all I do is change the oil, and fix stuff when it breaks, so much cheaper then a new car payment and full coverage insurance. That's the only reason I have my vette. Thank god for my 93 gran prix. 233,3xx and counting. Going for 400K. LOL Got a 99 GP gt in the garage also in the event of a failure that can't be fixed. The 99 should last longer then the 93, better motor to work with. 3.8 vs 3.1, n/a though not the s/c'd 3.8
