^^^Very strong. And yes it is a stingy dyno. The Fast is a restriction no doubt. But sheetmetal isn't really what I wanted so I opted for the ported fast. A sheetmetal would def pick this thing up so yes I know we left some on the table there. Don't get me wrong we could put 16's on the back and other stuff to make a dyno number but that isn't the point.

I feel I gained alot more in the low and midrange under the curve and gained rpm as well. And with the old setup and 257/266 cam thru a 10 bolt and alum d shaft and 16 inch wheels we did 557 pk but no low or midrange and the thing nose dived at 6100 with the L92 setup. So considering the drivetrain loss with the 18's steel d shaft twin disc and 9 9inch I guess I didn't do too bad hitting 560. If I look at it that way.

You still have to admit that something has to be weird there. I could understand if there was a smaller cam used but it looks like you have a healthy cam. I wonder where the power is.

^^^I just checked it on Sat. It was a hair loose so I set it to .010 hot like Cam Motion recommends (.010-.012 hot) I do plan to recheck this weekend since we were pretty hard on her last night just to double check everything. I also want to do a compression check to make sure all is good there as well. Timing is set at 18 degrees that is where it wanted to be.

Hmm that seems alright to me. I guess we have to wait to see the graph just to see how it pulled. I think you could definately benefit from a sheet metal intake being that you dealing with a cam like that.

Really good. around 1800-2000 if you let off the gas it don't like it but that is to be expected. Other than that it idles at aound 1100 and runs great. I do feel with it wanting to keep pulling with the solid roller setup but the fast runs out at 6500 there could be some more pk above where the fast can go?? I will double check all my stuff again just to make sure I am not missing anything and I am going to let it eat at the track and see what happens. Also as a side note there is only 110 miles on the motor so I am certain it will loosen up a little more over time.

Timing at 18 degrees? Did it ping over that? I've done alot of TFS headed stuff and they have always done better with 27.5-28.5 in them assuming it has enough octane fuel for what we are doing. I'd put some 103 unleaded in it and pour the timing to it and see what it liked. Just a thought, killer numbers anyway though! Congrats!
Also, I wished you were closer to Florida! I have a Wilson billet bank on my 427 and a Beck sheetmetal just sitting in the shop, we could do some experimenting and see what intake it like and or you liked. Anyone out your way got one to try?

I thought you said the graph would be up tonight ??
Anyways, glad to see you boys are done pissing in each others cheerios. Not trying to sound like a good to shoes, because I am guilty of a few pissing matches myself, but damn lets figure out what is up with the power.
That big *** cam, and 700 lift really should make some more power. Even with a fast on there, and heavy driveline. Either way though, she's going to scream on the street and at the track.

Wow.........your hot cam lash is .010? My hot lash is .024 and .026. The sheet metal intakes do take out lower power numbers but more then make up for it on the top. Who races in the middle rpm ranges? My Beck doesn't make power until 5 thousand then it takes off like a rocket ship! Makes 410hp at 5 thousand then jump more then 200+hp in 2 thousand rpm's with room to go.

No, everyone here is FI. It did not ping it just seemed to make more power when he took timing out of it.
I also just checked my cold lash on a few cylinders on the left side and cold lash was right at zero. I know cam motion recommended 10-12 hot. I did a tight 10 hot. Maybe I need to bump that up to a .002 cold and see what happens.

I got to the shop too late and he had already left. I am trying to get him to email it to me right now.

Yes that is per Cam Motion and LME
