I made them with a friend of mine. The flange connecting to the header was a pain. We used mandrel bends and cut them to my needs.

Looking at your graph, I would think your power band should level off at 7500 and above not 6 thousand. What springs are you using? Open and close pressures? What size valves and what metal are they made from?

Now it all makes since, so you are right were you should be (93 and the small exhaust set up and decent size cam). This is a really good set up bro. I love how the tq is so flat. Now I was the first to ask for some vid so help the rest of use out and lets here this animal. VERY NICE!!!

Congrats!

I'm sure Nick produced a good honest number. Please don't pay any attention to negative comments. Numbers from a different dyno, different day, different operator mean NOTHING! It's a ridiculous comparison.

Congrats again!

So, I'm guessing the head flow 365 @ 700 lift? Do you have the flow numbers from 100 to 800? What I'm wondering is, where do they back up at? The other big question is port volume and velocity? Just a thought, I'm wondering if your getting valve float up top with a 580 open pressure? A good question to ask yourself or others. I do love how your graph looks, as in power under the curve! Ferrea are heavy valves but should still be good to 7500rpm's or so.

Is the Fast intake good to 7500 I think is the question. Flow numbers are on Trick Flow's website. Also, wouldn't you see valve float on the dyno graph?

Thanks Kevin. Nick is as honest as they come. I agree with you on the comments. It just got me wondering when the first 5 or so comments were how they expected more as I did. As long as the lash is good and my compression comes up good I am not going to worry about it. I know the tune is spot on so it has to be in the drivetrain, exhaust and some in the intake.

Fast and or exhaust?? I really think this cam wants a sheetmetal style intake like everyone is saying.

yeah i agree, but i still think it should peak higher as it is. My car peaked at 6500 with an MS3 and FAST. I would like to see what that motor does with some higher octane gas. At 12.5:1 i bet it would like that.

That and some more timing. After I put some more miles on it I am going to add the ras gas and open headers and we will play with the timing to see what it likes. This way we can eliminate the exhaust issue all together. Also, most likely run it with the lid and maf off the car just open throttle body.

Nice numbers for the drivetrain..

Few things, The FAST intake is NOT your problem for the upper RPM roll off nor is it from valve floating. The sheet metal intake will just kill all your TQ. You say the heads are prepped by LME, did they just assemble them or do any port touch up?

If I remember correctly you said it has 18 degrees of timing. I would think around 28 degrees with good gas is going to give you several hp increase across the graph. Any ways good luck.

03 Busa, I would drop the exhaust before you do anything else. Your curve looks just like mine before we dropped the exhaust. We picked up 20-30 rwhp. I have seen even more depends on the exhaust systems.
