another cam only c5z just got home from the dyno,( with a grin on my face). ..
little info on car.
2001 z06
lg pro longtubes
vara ram
comp 224/228 on 111
ford 30# redtop injector
ported throttle body
underdrive pulley
the main concern for me was driveability. car was dynoed at diablo sport in west palm fla. .. johan ( very cool dude, spent alot of time getting the car right.---idles, drives, perfect, no issues whatsoever... ..like 30mpg on the way home... .
that being said, the cam is almost an exact copy of another c5z06 that pat g spec for RyanL ( i think thats his username)...
first pass was 423 and 403
second was 427 and 407 if i recall correctly, but we were getting some knock at the top end.( thinking its bad gas).
third -- 420 and 402ish -- ( backed off timing just a tad) due to the knock..
big thanks to mr.whitedevil **** stormtrooper. aka. V-seriesTech.. thanks homie , car has come a long way...with all the advice and help.. car and life related. ..guys at diablosport. johan and mike.. awesome peeps.. thank you both..-- i will be back when the heads go on .. and try to break that 450... ..

nice numbers. you would gain another 20 rwhp with ported 92mm Fast/92mm TB and maybe another from 30 to 50 rwhp with ported heads or touched up 215cc TFS heads depending on how good the heads are.

At least we know when the Vera boys come up for a tune, we dont have to deal with any hack jobs or half assed combos. Makes life easier for everyone.
