Default Stock 241 Heads - 425 rwhp - 175 shot - 595 rwhp

I just had my 2000 Camaro SS dynoed today.

It has a forged 347, slightly higher compression ratio... around 11.5

FM14 Cam, full bolt ons, 6 spd car.
Even with the 12 bolt rear end, 4.11 gears and Heavy spec 5 clutch and flywheel, it put down...

Dyno numbers
425 rwhp / 400 rwtq - Motor
100 shot - 526 - 559 tq
175 Shot - 594 - 659 tq

It's got one lean spot.. that was causing some knock retard....

I am also out of injectors. I've got about 15 more rwhp in it once I can throw some more fuel and timing to it. Timing on motor was 28 degrees and on the 175 shot was 20 degrees.

I will have a graph posted later

Did you clean the heads any ? I sprayed the heck out of mine with brake parts cleaner and all sorts of carbon deposits come flowing out of the int/ exh ports .

Power sounds nice , have fun with it .

The heads are stock, but were washed and cleaned before being put back on the motor. The motor has about 8k miles on it now.

Nata, stock unported. I am looking at throwing a set of ported ls6 heads on it now to see if I can break the 450rwhp barrier on motor and the 625-640 barrier on the juice. I will be ordering 200 jets soon.

with a stock bottom end and a set of decked and ported and worked over 242 heads I put 473 rwhp and 407 rwtq threw a 12 bolt with 4.33 gears and a Denny's steel driveshaft. Stock castings can make good power if they get worked over in the right hands

Did you upgraded the solenoids for the 175-200 shot? Because I thought the sudden impact kit was rated to 175max when I bought mine..

I've got the largest solenoids they offer now. They said they can easily flow a 200.
