OK, Back on Topic. The car idles great. We have the tuning down. The idle is set to 950 rpms.

We will have not only J-Rod, but Mark Smith from La with our G5X-3 A4 Camaro , Maggie with her White A4 Trans Am G5X-2 car that runs 10.8s. , CamM who will be there with his 450rwhp G5X-2 car, and Jamie JS12 with his cam only NOS G5X-3 package. All except Jamie will be NA and all will have to weigh 3400 but so will everyone else.

We are looking forward to meeting many of you at the shootout. It is always great to put a face with the words on this computer monitor.

See you there.

LG

To Mike, Brian, Off Axis, Verbs and all the others who are complimenting LG Motorsports for this nice package, we thank you.

We are putting a 410 in the car this weekend, to get it ready for the shootout. I know that all of our LG cars have good drivers in them. I hope that they don't miss any shifts, and they don't see any Red Lights.

Thanks again,

LG

As soon as thunder and all the rest of the tuners come over to My shop and dyno all their packages on my dyno. The door swings both ways.

Then why not just go to another dyno and prove that the car makes 470 to the wheels...????????????

Congrats Lou, thanks for hanging in there doin the R and D...Obviously results just keep getting better
I suggest you pull a "Cartek" and prove the doubters wrong. They actually ripped a motor down after a run to prove a point. Surely you should send it to another dyno operator to prove yours. No ones gonna bitch it your 10 hp low.
I pick up what your puttin' down about the door swinging both ways, but when your on the hot seat, step up and shut them up.
I, for one, think is quite possible.
Keep up the great work, and thanks for continually posting here. Several sponsers just give up the word play.

My X3 and Jays Stage 2.75s will be done on my stock bottom end LS1 real soon.It will get a dyno here in NY,where another LG+Absolute made 457 and right to rhe track. The same heads and cam will then go on my new motor and we can get a real comparo.

I have to wonder what 11.04/121 will be when I add at least 50 HP.

Great results Lou,I know you work hard at being the best out there.

Good luck to all at the Southern Shoot Out.

As I have already stated in a previous post, I don't believe in a bunch of smack talk. But I can see that other folks do. I will be in Dallas on Monday to pick the car up. I will be driving it back to Houston after that. I'll have plenty of results soon. Till then chill out.

I hear ya Ron, I never could keep my mouth shut either..

Those #'s have been done probably 200 times with cam half the size of the GSX2, and more TQ to boot on stock heads through cats. Hell, the common #'s are 405/390 out of one of our local shops, and they don't even run anything bigger than 230 degrees of duration. Soooo, 409/386 really isn't that spectacular when we're making that same HP and more TQ through smaller cams running through cats. If Evil wants to chime in, he'll be glad to enlighten you. Your car runs great, don't get me wrong........for weighing in at 3100 lbs(or less?).

Ok guys, Here it is. Independent Dyno Numbers

I just drove the car 40 miles to another dyno shop. It was Speed Works in Lewisvill, Tx. Nothing special, they charged me the normal rate.

Here are the numbers. http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~lgigliot/LGM/sw469.jpg What hoop do you want me to jump through next? Now are you all going to apply this same rule to all tuners who post up numbers? Until they go to another dyno?? I think that is BS, not a tuner who works hard to move the LS1 forward.

468.8rwhp/ 422.8 rwtq

[If you guys from Atlanta need a little help with your packages, just give me a call. I guess you forgot more than you thought. (Per your profile biography)]

Have a nice day.

LG

PS what you guys from atlanta don't account for is the torqur curve, and the power under the curve with our packages that make the cars fast on the race track. 1/4 mile or not. POWER UNDER THE CURVE

Who is Ron?

Wow, 405/390 is common on a smaller cam? 200 times? Nevermind then.
I guess I need a smaller cam.
Damn..I've been doing this all wrong....

Got them boys caught in their own words now.

If you dyno high, their crutch is the only thing that matters is track times.

If you run an awesome ET, you get blasted because your dyno numbers are poor, that you are a fool for needing that big of a cam.

I wonder if their 200+ 405rwhp cam only cars were dynoed through a Ford 9"?

Lets see what (if) they have to say about the dyno numbers at another shop...........

PS, Check your mfba post, please.....

Don't use my car as a measuring stick. You can throw a ton of parts at a turd, and its still a turd. :p

Seriously though, a 4.56 geared drag suspended Fbody should be able to greatly out 60 a 'Vette, no?

out 60... sure... But lets think for a second. Jasons car weighed 3400lbs ballpark. That Vette cant weight anymore than 3200 or 3300 with driver. Dont ya think the weight difference will allow the Vette to backhalf a lil better and still run the same ET???
