Default 5.3 heads and ms3 cam #s

Hey everyone I just had my car dynoed on Tuesday after an install and tune by F-body central. My mods are stage 2.5 5.3 heads, MS3 cam on a 112 lsa, ls6 intake, slp underdrive pully, QTP headers, QTP y-pipe w/dual cutouts, magnaflow exhaust, Spec stage 3+ clutch, spec flywheel, Stock 10 bolt with 4.10 gears. The car layed down 473 hp and 438 ft lbs. This was with the cutouts closed. (they are not wired up yet). I am extremely happy with the results. I can't wait to see what it does in two week when I take it back for a 100 shot install.

Sorry forgot to say that the car is a 2000 SS camaro. The car is a blast to drive now. Tuning was around 550 and it was done by F-body central. I have 42.5lb injectors and a walbro 255L pump. The problem with the graph is that it's the third run and it came out in green. When I tried to scan it in to my computer the lines were not picked up by the computer. I'll keep trying though and when I go back down for the nitrous I will see if they will print another one just N/A in black ink.

I would like to see a graph to see the area under curve, correction factor, and A/F. Eithe rway, sounds liek great results as long as you have some sort of power down low. Peak power isn't everything like some people believe.

i dont know the company you had tune your car so im just going to ask, do they use a dynojet or mustang dyno?

If you and your buddy both used different dynos, your numbers arent going to be comparable at all. Good numbers you put down for sure though, in the next 2 weeks im FINALLY getting my car with a 150 shot and mods in sig tuned on a mustang dyno, cant wait to see what it puts down

Mine was done on a dynojet. It really sucks that this graph is in green and won't scan onto my computer. The car hit 400 ft lbs at 3400 rpm and 400 hp at 4800 rpm. Sorry for not being able to put up a graph like i said before I'll try to get a better one when i go back down for the nitrous install. Not sure what the air/fuel ratio is but I do remember the tuner saying it was running borderline on the first run when it made 463 hp and he set it so it would be running more on the safer side.

MS3 with 400rwtq at 3400 rpms on a stock cube motor? Talk about a happy dyno!

Good job bro, the main thing is your happy & have fun with it.

Don't worry about Eskimo & Blu1 they're hardcore nut swingers that love to try to discredit others.

Enjoy the combo that's the main thing!!

You two call me whatever you want, find ONE 346 with an MS3 that makes 400rwtq at 3400 rpms. Hell find one 346 period that makes 400rwtq at 3400 rpms lol.

Just one is all I ask, simply amazing that I know for a fact that won't happen but you guys will commend this guy and act like it happens all the time. Do what you gotta do to sell those parts.

Just noticed that is on a dynojet. Those numbers are definately pretty high. I think what Jason is saying is as long as he's happy with the combo why must the hardcore guys try to talk it down?

Hardcore must be boring right now huh???
