Great gains over the magnaflow. Get the QTP Electric Cutout. Had mine for like 5-6 years now. www.quicktimeperformance.com

Yeah, my brother one and it only lasted him maybe two years I think, so I've been hesitant to buy one of those. You seem to get mixed reviews (like with most aftermarket car products...).

I went with the DMH because of all the negative QTP reviews. With a 4-year warranty, it's really a no-brainer!

Only thing is w/ the DMH, on most cars there are ground clearence issues. I had a DMH on my truck...it was awsome 0 problems in 3yrs. and counting...

It's $200 shipped for the butterfly and a cutout or $179 for just the butterfly.

If DMH is so great why did Summit racing drop them. And how come are not a sponsor and support this site? I always wondered about that.

TRACK RESULTS UPDATE: went to LVD Friday for a rental after the cutout install and retune. Last time out I was running 11.7-11.8 at 117 in 55 degree weather with 1.6 60's. This time out it was 85 degrees and I ran a best of 11.7 at 117 with a 1.6 60', so I was able to pretty much tie my best previous run but in 30 degree warmer weather. I'd say that shows a solid gain. I actually hit a new best trap by .02 (117.45 previous vs 117.47 on Friday). Can't wait to get it to the next rental in October when we get the colder air and then get it down to Atco or Englishtown for a real pass.

Atco is cheating LOL seriously you will probably run low 11s at 120.

Man does that car sound retarded with the cutout open. Holy hell. Makes me want one.

^120 is definitely possible there. When I was bolt-on I went from 111 mph at Lebanon on a good day to 114 at Atco. My old LT1 ran 13.1 @ 105 in cold air ar Atco and then only a 13.6 @ 100 in the summer heat at Lebanon. Hell, even Englishtown picks up solidly over LVD.

Nice results, I think all of your guys tracks are cheating! Come run at our track its at 2000' elevation. Wish I could run at ATCO, sounds like fun.

Yeah, if I get it down to Englishtown later this year on a cool day, I'd like to see a 119 out of it and it should be possible. Traction is what's going to kill my shot at a really strong ET, though.

Haha, that sucks man. I don't know if I could live somewhere my car was running like half a second slower than it would anywhere else. Time to move, I guess!

damm this thread is old.
Good numbers, I picked up 4hp with my dmh cutout on top of my dual 2.5" catback.

Btw did east side do your original heads & cam install?
I noticed their site doesnt work anymore are they still around ?
