i got my car finally running like a raped ape!!!! very good street manners great idle great shifting etc etc the car is just awesome now!

Geez, and you were going to go back to stock ???

I am glad to hear that you got everything fixed and running right !!

yea i was about to go back stock and had already sold the wet kit and was just about to unbolt all the mods but got it tuned locally and it runs like a champ now!

Rick are there any specifics that you can post that would help the rest of us understand what your "new" tuner did vs what Ed did? Ed stated the car was "perfect" when it left, apparently something was amiss. Could you enlighten us ? I know my car was allegedly "perfect" when it left shop "A", but it wasn't. It drove ok but not "PERFECT". Now that its been to Shop "B" (Vengeance Racing) it is perfect. I know what was wrong on mine, please clue us into what was found on yours..... Funny thing is that if the car was running perfect for Ed, maybe you two have a wide seperation in opinions of what perfect is. To me perfectly tuned is stock like driving experience with manners that go inline with your right foot. LOL.

Not saying anything bad about VA Speed, Pm'd with ED and he seems very nice, just trying to understand what was done to make her run so good now that wasn't done by Ed already? Was anything found, vacuum leaks and then were repaired ?? Throw us a bone Rick !!

there were no leaks anywhere vacuum or fuel. i am not a tuner so i cant say what all was done lol.if i were a tuner i woulda tuned it myself hahahaha but damn the luck im not i know the timing i believe was changed the shift was firmed up alot the rev limit was increased so that it shifts i believe around 6300 now which makes it feel like its more peppy. i am not real sure on what was done for the surging but it is really faint surging around 50mph now. im sure more was done but i have no idea what

Well at least you are happy.

This comes as a surprise though, Ed did offer to take care of you and make it right if you gave him an oppurtunity to do so, yet you still went to a second person. I guess you have your reasons just like I had mine. Again I am glad that you are happy. I remember talking to you for the first time and you were very excited about the mods that you had planned for your car. Then the let down, but now you are happy like I was. Totally relate how you feel. I just wish I knew what was up with the car to have all those problems after Ed stated it was perfect.

doug i went for a ride after we talked on the phone and had a great time til ummmmmm well i busted a tranny line yet again!!! oh and the screaming cat sound under my hood lol. i think i need to get steel braided line for the tranny cooler instead of fuel line cause the fuel line keeps cracking and pouring fluid everywhere

New lines and possibly a tension pully. Check the alignment of those pullys as well.

I guess you'll be doing the trans lines Monday night so you can get back on the road ??
