You would need to gain 135 whp, with an M6 I think you would be right in there. With a stalled auto I will guess 425-435, dont worry they are just numbers. Just make sure you go to the same dyno to see your gains, otherwise you are just chasing numbers. Either way 430hp or 450hp its going to haul ***.

+1 on baselining and final tuning on the same dyno. Rick if you go to VA Speed be sure to get her strapped down first to see what Ed's dyno aka "the heartbreaker" says your car is making. Then have them do the installs and whatever the final numbers are obviously subtract your baseline from for GAINS !! Should be decent. I wish you had more cash to go with the best heads money can buy. Should never go cheap on heads. Thats why I went with AFR to start, and now that I am switching its not to a lesser company. TFS is equal if not a tiny bit better. That statement would have to be qualified on a case by case basis, in no way am I making a generalization that TFS is better then AFR. I am sure there are examples of each head doing amazingly well in different types of builds that were centered around each head. All depends on where you start out. My 346 was perfect for the afr 205, but now that I am a 402 stroker, I need a bit more flow up top to free the missing hp, but didn't want a huge runner and lose anything down low. So TFS 215's it is. The new owner of my afr 205's will be very happy, as they are perfect for his 346 build.

i hear ya and i really didnt want to drop the cash on these heads but i had my heads at the machine shop for almost 3 weeks and they hadnt even touched them yet as of yesterday morning and seeing how the install is going to happen in a week i said dont touch them i will pick them up this afternoon which i did and because of the short time limit between now and the install i had to buy a set of heads so for the price i had to buy the 5.3 heads and now i will sell my ls6 heads and patriot gold extremes to recoup some of the money i just had to fork out. The good news is that these heads should five me some more hp over the ls6 heads
