The track is the real test!

The track only tests for 1/2 the equation. It just irks me when people say that the track is the only place to test. What if suspension and gearing is for the street then the car doesn't make the power the owner claims because it doesn't cut the et or trap you think it should ? Forgetting driver error too? Top speed takes no skill other then being able to keep the car straight and enough guts/***** and / or stupidity to wind her out.

Just my 2 cents because of all the drama I dealt with for my old combo not doing what a bunch of internet experts running 13 seconds said it should.

(h/c bolt on 346 12.02 123.6 mph 2.11 60 footer LOL. 490 rwhp 445 rwtq 3.42 gearing for street, far from optimum for the track and stiff z51 suspenion)

exavtly why i am using him to do the tune and he was my 1st choice from the beginning but never could get ahold of him but now i have and he is going to do the tune for me and make my c5 run in the mid 8s with like a zillion rwhp

car is getting torn down and all my goodies installed in less than a week and then off to ed at va speed!!!!! I am so stoked and cant wait to see what ed can get out of my c5 after the mods.

also i have a nx wet kit i may install with a 100 shot but basically looking to get 450rwhp on motor!!!!!!

also because of the change i will be offering up for sale my ls6 intake ls6 heads and patriot gold extreme spring kit

let me know if your going to sell your ls6 intake I'm interested in it

I just got back from Pa last nite and after 3 days of hard work with alot of help from my new awesome friends i now have a fast C5 to get tuned and a few dyno runs from va speed in a few weeks.

How's she running ?? You drove her from PA to VA untuned right ??
Please tell me that you babied her on the way home since you pcm is probably going nuts trying figure out whats going on at this moment.

Good move setting up an Appt with Ed at VA Speed. Good guy, and a great tuner. When you leave, you'll know where your money went, drivability and reliability.
