Nice numbers and great power curve. Let us know how you do at the track.

No UD pulley and no ported TB. It runs pretty good, but unfortunately the clutch let go saturday night.

Ignorance truely is bliss isn't it? You asked us what we thought. For a big cam stage 2.5 LS6 ported heads those numbers are **** poor at best. I would have expected 430+rwhp with that setup, but hey you can either look for problems or be happy with what you got. Whatever floats your boat I guess. Don't ask for it if you can't handle it.

I wasn't trying to start anything, I just think there is alot left in that combo. If you look at it the car is still gaining power when the dyno run quit. Just make sure the basic stuff is in good shape; fuel filter, enough injector, plugs, wires, air filter. If you don't have an aftermarket lid look into that and port up your throttle body, its not hard at all. That alone should bump you up to 430 or so. I just hate to see people spend their hard earned money on a setup that doesn't perform like it should.

Could you post that graph in rpm by any chance? Make sure the afr is around 12.8-13 and timing is around 22-26 degrees with the 243 heads. I am sure you need bigger injectors too. Rev that thing out a little higher and I think you will be a lot happier.

I wasn't trying to start anything either man, my apologies! I basically went about my setup completely bass akwards. I started with the hardest part instead of the basic bolt-ons. Yes I do have an aftermarket lid (brand unknown), plugs, wires and fuel filter were replaced when heads/cam/intake/exhaust was done, and the K&N was clean. I know for a fact I need bigger injectors but not sure what size/brand to go with. I'm also looking into getting a ported MAF and TB. The guy that owned it before me apparently tried to port the TB himself....it looks like he took a chisel to it! And as far as posting up the dyno graph in RPM's....well there lies the rub....the guy that tuned it only gave me that one graph. And when I asked him questions about the tune, he couldn't exactly answer them. I'm not trying to bash him or anything but it seemed kind of odd. I will probably be getting it retuned VERY soon. Thanks for your input and suggestions!

Those # are low, you should be in 440+rwhp range, 430 on a stingy dyno. And no it is not the intake
Did you do a baseline dyno run to find our how much you gained total?

With the listed mods, your numbers are low. I'd expect 430+ WITHOUT a FAST intake. The LS6 intake is pretty damn good in itself.

I know the clutch was slipping pretty bad. I picked the car up last friday and the clutch went out saturday night. I think the tune leaves a lot to be desired also. That and he told me the injectors were maxed out

SAE can only correct for so much. The hot air does play a factor in the numbers but not as much as people like to think (15-20+hp )

Yah I was not trying to start some **** either, just saying you have a lot of room in that setup for more power. If your tuner was that sketchy, I would look into that first. When ryne tuned my car, it made 437rwhp on the first pull but was way too rich, once we dialed in the afr it settled at 420-ish. You should make 430+ pretty easily.

Ok...so I know I need bigger injectors. Can anyone suggest a brand/size? I am injector ignorant!
