Default home ported fast yields big #'s

99' ls1 114k miles through a 9" 4.10

tsp 232/234 595/598 lift
tsp 5.3l stg 2.5
slp airlid
ud pulley
slp longtubes offroad y pipe,loudmouth
stock unported tb/ls6 intake
17" tt2 315 sumis

402 rwhp/351trq---6/2/09---95*,31%humid

needless to say me and the tuner were dissapointed but o well, this is all she could do.
now 6 weeks later same dyno, same tuner.with the following changed

99' ls1 114k miles through a 9" 4.10

evap delete
pcv delete
home ported fast 92/92
16"snowflakes on 255/50/16 mt drag radials

437rwhp/386trq---7/29/09---96*37%humid
441/391 cutouts

thats a gain of almost 40rwhp and 40trq
now to see if she runs as good as the #'s say I doubt it since its like hitting a brick wall shifting this thing over 6k

Nice gains!!!! Some of the gain was likely from the smaller/lighter wheels.

Looking more in line with what most would expect from the setup. Nice gains!

yeah I had pix of the porting cause I was gonna post them in the external section but I thought the porting did not look that good so i did not post them,I deleted the pix on the camera.I think it gave me around 30rwhp from the manifold & tb swap

next plan is to put qtp or american racing headers.my slp's have popped twice in the last couple of months where the collector meets the y pipe cause the car is lowered and the exhuast hangs to low.that should be arond 10hp there also.
