The reason I ask is that I had almost identical results on my 500ci ERL motor. We are still tuning and fixing/trying some things but the first pull was 610/610. It peaked at 5700rpm and the kpa readings were in the low 90s.
These freaking things eat the huge cams up. Mine also idles like a baby with a 262/270 cam.

Still have my LS7 heads from my old setup that LG Motorsports ported for my heads/cam car. I don't really know enough about them to know whether there can be more done to the LS7 head for a motor this big.
I'll start my own thread soon. Hate to clutter this one up.

I've had the GMHTP magazine with this article in my bathroom pile for almost 6 years now visiting this article here and there and have been dying to know if it was ever allowed to breath with a new intake and TB........any results Ray or did you just say F it because 620/620 whp all motor w/ 3:73's is plenty for a street toy! :-)
