You should find out the density altitude of the track you were racing on. I bet you had a really high one to run those kinds of numbers. Either that or your launch was a little slow. With my A4 with 112,000 miles, with LT's, catback, and a lid ran 12.98 on street tires. That was at 1700DA. I put a shift kit, mail order tune, and fan switch on, went back and did 13.01...but the DA was 2500'. DA is a surprisingly accurate way to level the playing field between days or tracks with different conditions. If you have an A4 it's even better because they're a little more consistent from run to run than an M6 will be (generally).
