239/251 .624/.624 113+3

What lobes?

Ron so let me ask you this. What do you feel is better?

The bump in compression with a slightly smaller cam. (heads milled around 25-30 thousanths)

or running the heads as is with that came?

the one i was lookin at was a 232/236 .600/.600 with the heads milled 30 thous with oem gaskets.

Im concered about over caming with not enough compression.

502 REAL RWHP/457 REAL RWTQ
How much power loss would we be talking about if the heads were ran as is without milling? What did you mill those heads too? stock ls3 gaskets?

PMs returned...

PWRDbyLS1, I would want a bit more compression for optimal results with this camshaft.

How much ptv clearance do you have without milling. I run a 240-242-111+0, There were initial reports of guys breaking pistons with this cam, I had mine doctored and came in at 112+4 (the guy that sells the cams says there 112+0) They must of retarded the cam for more clearance as after install it was retarded a lot. I had to advance it 8 degrees, So I ended up 111+0, in this guise I can definately say there would be 60thou of the valve entering the piston with them milled 36. Its important to check clearance on every install also degree the cam.

Great work Vengeance!
