Default Another cam only 500RWHP C6 From Vengeance Racing

Delivering this one tomorrow folks!!!!! This BEAUTIFUL C6 came to us from a Corvette Forum member with ARH longtubes/Vararam Induction/B&B Bullit Exhaust already installed. Baseline #s showed 403RWHP/401RWTQ. The owner was looking for max effort horsepower without a huge sacrifice in drivability in the lower RPMs...

We added:

Vengeance Racing Stage IV LS3 Camshaft
Comp 921 Spring Kit
Hardened Pushrods
Katech C5R Timing Chain
Melling Oil Pump
Milled The Cylinder Heads for added compression
ARP Head Bolts
GM MLS Head Gaskets
Installation/Tuning by Vengeance Racing

STOCK PULLEY
STOCK WATERPUMP
STOCK CLUTCH

We also completed extensive testing of the new FAST LSXR 102mm Manifold on this combo which has been posted in a few other threads already.

The result is 502 REAL RWHP/457 REAL RWTQ with EXCELLENT street manners 101RWHP/56RWTQ Gain from a Cam Kit with a slight bump in compression!!!

Here are a few pics/dyno graph and drivability videos for your viewing pleasure!!!

Ron how was the PV clearance with the milled heads? I noticed that your site says it must be checked.

Nice job Guys !! Looks like another happy customer leaving Vengeance Racing !!

That cam makes nice power all thru the RPM range, but that topend KICKS ***! Can't wait to see this guy take his car for a top speed run. She is going to fly !

Could you remind me about the results on the lsxR intake. Unported it gained 8/9 to the wheels, what did it do after porting ?

what was the reason behind using the Katech C5-R chain? and were the sprockets upgraded too? are the C6's setup weak in stock form?

Also curious. Did you have to flycut?

Im still up in the air for my LS2/L92 head swap and dont wish to flycut.

Thanx guys!!!

This camshaft WILL fit without flycutting IF you do not mill the heads. We wanted the added compression so we milled AND flycut to keep things safe.
