Will not hurt lifters if you run the proper spring and pushrod.

3. The L76 runs and even smaller cam than the LS1. Any help you give it will show some nice gains.
Will there be any PTV issues with these rockers on a stock LS3 and do you think the improvement will carry over to the LS3?

No P to V issues. Remember, at max lift, your piston is near the bottom of the cylinder. During the overlap cycle (where P to V gets tight), the added lift will have only a small effect on P to V. You'll be very safe. Just make sure you upgrade springs and pushrods.

Nice write up Pat.

Last year I grabbed 28/19 with a set of crane LS3/L92 Progressive tip 1.8 rockers. Definately a nice easy mod though a lil pricey. I run them with the torq 7, PSI behives and some light valves.

Nice! I was looking to do the same setup to my G8...are there any issues as far as spring pressure that may hinder the longevity of the 1.8 Yella Terra roller rockers or anything like that? I found the PAC 1518 Springs on NewEra Performance Parts.com...I assume the Manley pushrods measuring 5/16" dia 7.400" long with an .080 wall, I found on the same site would work, vs your stated 7.450" length. Any help would be worth a lot. Thanks! -Mike

The reason why I mentioned the 7.450" pushrod length was to keep people from making the mistake of installing too short of pushrods. If you install 7.400" pushrods with the 1.85 Yella Terra rockers, your lifter preload will be too shallow and you will get lots of valvetrain ticking noise.
