I could use some opinions on my numbers.
I just had my car dynoed on a dynojet that generally sees stock LS1 autos put down 290-295 with stock converter.
Earlier 346 numbers I felt were low...
3200 converter
cam 230/234 .595/.598 114
Bolt-ons etc.-
343 rwhp
330 rwtq at 4800 to negate converter flash
Only changes...
384CI
heads - 317 castings 315/220 flow
357 rwhp
352 rwtq at 4800 to negate converter flash
Horsepower gains were about expected as all that changed to affect them is the heads. Torque is consistently 25 higher, and even hits 33 higher for a brief time. The gains were both expected, but the overall numbers with both setups worry me. I just see so much bigger numbers with other similar setups in terms of rwhp.
