How do you account for the 90 RWHP difference between this one and the LS3 SS you just did?

Probably that Stock Air Box, These are bas as* numbers for a Stock Air Box

The other one has a stock airbox too.

There are a few reasons the LS3's make more power.

1. Larger Stock Camshaft.
2. You can get them to hold more timing than the auto's.
3. Manual Trans


We see about 30-40 RWHP difference between LS3's and the L99's on our Stage I packages.

Thanks for the explanation Mike. Before I opened the thread I thought that a 50 RWHP difference would be the most I would see, 90 just seems like an awful lot, but I guess the auto car has cats too.
