Carolina Dragway may be a little closer for you. Its near Aiken and is a "sticky" 1/4 miler.

Thank you. I relly did enjoy working with you and on your car. Give me a call when you are ready to do some upgrades so I can help you get what you are looking for.

I wish I could make it to the track to see it run!

Will do. One weekend when you are free and if you wanna see it run or run it urself let me know and we can meet up at a track.

And to the guy above me, I would have liked 430, but I am more than happy were im at, every dyno reads different, and this 416 hp is an honest number, no over-infalted tires, iced intakes etc. Drove it like 10-15 miles, straped it down and did the pulls.

Im 110% happy.

no, pistons are not flycut and yes I have stock heads. When I do heads I will probably flycut the pistons just to be on the safe side because I will probably have the heads milled for some compression.

Went to the 1/8th mile track yesterday..... and............
was getting horrid wheel hop and clutch pedal stuck to the floor at the end of each run. Once was so bad, when i put it in neutral after the lights I could not get it back into gear at the end of the track, I had to coast into the return lanes and sit for a min or so for it to cool off before it would go into gear. I am going to get a tick adjustable master cylinder and pray it fixes the problem, i herd it takes 10+ hours to do a clutch on these vettes ().
best run was a 7.8x @96.1 WITH A 2.1 60 foot, I litterally spun half way down the track, didnt hook up until the end of second. Slower than my 7.61@96.5 but that run had a 1.8 60 and hardly any wheel spin execpt for the 1-2 shift. Will update after I get the master cylinder in.

Added a udp (freshly cleaned airfilter..) and new numbers are 426/399 sae, same dyno warmer weather.

when it cools off ill get some track numbers. Previous best 1/8 was 7.61@96.5 Bolt ons (minus udp) untuned. We shall see.

tick master helped with the pedal sticking to the floor. the clutch doesnt grab like I want it to honestly, so we will see how it likes launches on a sticky surface when the air cools off down here. I do not have high hopes but I havent tracked it in over a year so I have the itch big time.
