He doesnt do tuning for customers anymore I believe. Only special circumstances.

I really believe you will be very happy with Mr. Romans. Decently close and will do a great job. When my car was a street car, my ms3 car drove great. It is all in the time one puts in to make it good. The WOT stuff is the easy part.

Thanks Cam, I obviously didn't know that ; the last time I talked with Robert was two or three years ago when he ported our Fast 90 intake... Back then he offered to retune our car; but honestly had not heard anything from, or about Advanced Dyno for a while but noticed their web site was still up...

Yes, he doesnt own a shop. He has a day time job and does tuning just because he really enjoys it. been doing it for a long time. Yes give him a call and go from there.

You don't need a dyno to tune.

I remember seeing one street 98-02 Camaro there. I think it looked like yours but I can't remember 100%. That day was freaking awesome!

dam, i guess my message didnt show up earlier, in a short way of asking,

which i know cameran.. you told me what it does but not how it effects the power...
what does the lift do for you car? cause i know some people like big lifts and some stay small, ill have dual springs so im thinkin .612/.609.... whats the benefactor to high lift???

i read somewhere that lift usually determends where you get power the most...this true?

ok, update, called everyone to get there point of view with my set up, and what not. they all seem cool, kieth seems to be an older guy that doesnt have much time to chat, and roman....well seems cool but can never talk, aways needing to call me back but never does. so far newtech and kieth is the only two i can even talk to.
so far its the ls6 stage 2 heads and the torquer 2, or a custom cam thats a tad bigger like 234 236 .598 .602.

^ ya ill probably go there again since no romans not getting back to me and the other guys seem like they have better thinkgs to do, everytime i call newtech,i get a answer with friendly service.
and it doesnt hurt that the fact i sent my ecu to them to delete stuff, then got a tune before, so me going back again is going tobe pretty cheap,IMO, since ive went with them twice now. not going to say the price, not sure if they`d want me to.
whats the average price to a H/C combo tune?

if ur willing to drive a pretty far for a tune i'll say newtech or synergy. cant go wrong with either of them. I had my car tuned by newtech. synergy is good enough to be represented in a magazine.

ITS alive, barely got it home from a small drive from Jasons house who helped me put the heads and cam in(ls6 stg2.5/Torquerv2), great guy and reccommend him to anyone. it wont keep idle even when warmed up. i need a tune bad and plan on getting it tuned asap.

im going to try to get ahold of Roman a few more times and as long as he gives a decent deal, ill go to him cause its going to be only about 200$ from Newtech cause i`ve previously went there. The only hard part of getting it to newtech is driving LOL.
Any tricks besides pushing the gas down on getting it not to die when i come to a stop

You could always have it towed via flat bed to the tuner and drive the car home. Might be worth it considering how big of change you made to your setup (heads and cam). You might be doing damage driving the car untuned. How many miles to your tuner?

I say get it tuned and drive the SOB home.

Im sorry you cant keep him on the phone, he does have a day job at GM that is probably keeping a little more busy these days. Tell him Cameron Hensley told you to call him and to not hang up or get put on hold. that might get his attention a little more. haha.

Go with who you are comfortable with in the long run. you registered on sacfbodyz too right?

i know it sucks, im going to try and figure some thing out.

i called mark and talked, all though he does get alot of good feed back i cant spend an arm and leg for tuning(500 plus then 150 to rent a dyno)...not for me. Maybe if his price was competitive and would do it for 400 and had a dyno but i dont think thats going to happen lol

yes im on sacfbodys too talking to guys there as well.
