I’m happy with the dyno numbers. Just not with the track results. I ran a 12.19@110 with 409 HP uncorrected (perfect weather). Last time out I ran a few 12.40’s any better with 430 corrected in OK weather. The power is there, but my guess is theres something in my setup that needs to change to match up.

It’s apparent that I was shifting too high I tried 6900 to 7200 last time at the track thinking that my bigger exhaust and intake shoved my power up high like everyone on tech preaches. The graph seems like I need to stay in the 6600 to 6800 range, which is shying me away from 4.56 gears.

My converter is flashing 3500 rpm so I’m thinking about sending it out to loosen it to 4200 or so. I was hoping some of the seasoned racers would pitch in a theory or 2 on things I could change to help out.

I dont think you're doing anything wrong. You're fighting physics at this point...power required to move a certain mass. You can't expect to get times similar to F-bodys with the same rwhp due to the 1000 lbs differential.

Google some online 1/4 mile calculators and you'll see what I mean.

more power and 1 to 2 mph lower doesnt add up. i know it wont do what a camaro will, im just wanting an 11.999 N/A...then i can open up this expensive nitrous kit to it's full potential and pray for a 10 second pass

the DA of my 12.19 N/A pass was -1,106 (awesome weather)

the DA of my 12.40 N/A pass was +100 (still great weather though)
