Tuning took five pulls to get it perfect. John, I generally don't post flow numbers because in my opinion it doesn't mean squat unless you flow every head on the same bench. I can tell you that the flow over 300 cfm @ .550 and flow very well in the mid range hence the nice torque curve. Raw flow isn't everything

Thats as much power as I got out my LQ9 stage 11 heads and monster cam with all bolt ons as well as an electric water pump.
I traded from this setup for my last one with the 224/581/112 cam and heads which made 414.

What's the "Rapid ported Intake"?

Great numbers; I have a 99' rebuilt forged motor with JPR S2 heads and don't even come close to those numbers.

Yes they are 5.7 heads just like on my car. I wish I could squeeze every little drop out of my car. But its just not in the cards.

Congrats Mikey. This is a great package and not many people can make that kindof power with that size of a cam and LS1 heads without bumping the compression.

I don't know why really but we seem to get 10-15rwhp more out of the 2001-2002 engines with equiv. mods
Wow great numbers Mikey , i hope my numbers come out as well w/ my cam once i get tuning here.

Outstanding results with a 224 cam. Wonder what the car would make with a bigger cam and more compression maybe 460?

I think with a set of Kooks headers and a 230 XE-R, it may have hit 455-460. This customer does not track race. He wanted a torquey low reving street car. He got it

Great results!

Just when I think I have the cam question figured out you throw up a graph like that!

Good job Mikey!

Hi Mike, I do some minor modification to the LS6 intake runners and some work in the throttle body area. It requires the use of a BBK or other larger than stock throttle body.

cool how much of a power increase have you noted with this setup over a stock
1s6 intake and a regular ported tb?
