907 RWHP through a TH400 and 12 bolt
Welp, I decided to get an upgrade on my injectors and went from RC 71 lb/hr injectors to FMS 80 lb/hr injectors hoping to hit 23PSI on the mouse motor.
Unfortunately even with a base of around 65 PSI we were only able to bring it from 19 to 21 PSI safely without running out of injector. But all in all with the TH400 and the 12 bolt I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm sure the car will easily run 8's now which is all I ever wanted anyway.
I hope to have the car out over the next few weekends to get a new number on the car.
Here's the dyno graph. Huge thanks the to Speed Inc folks for expert tuning and their continued help at the track and in the chassis tuning.

I'm sticking with the high impedance injectors with no converter box. I honestly thought I could reach my goal with the FMS 80's. I dont plan on running faster than 8.50's. I'm not going to push the car any further than that. I'll wait and see what shakes out with the 90lb injectors folks are trying to see if that works.

Thanks. It's definitely a 408CI with a 4000 stall. In first gear boost is almost instantaneous. However I just added a 2-step to the mix to bring up the boost right on launch. I've been coming out on zero boost on my launches for now. Best is 1.48 60ft. With the boost on the launch I should see 1.30 60fts or better. I'll probably come out on 8PSI when it's all said and done.

thats sweet man. thats what im trying to do. do you think youll need to tighten up the your stall? or does it work well at the end of the track. im asking becuase im not sure what ill need when i get my th400

My stall seems to be working on the big end without issue. However I run a 3.42 gear in the rear and if I use a drag radial I'm getting close to running out of gear. With a slick on the back (taller tire) I'm fine. We'll see what happens with the extra power on the converter. Definitely have to make sure you have a good converter in there though.

Honestly I'm still running limited slip and it's starting to get some wear on it. I was thinking about a spool in it but now I'm thinking I just go with a set of steel clutches in there and see if she'll hold the power. I do love driving on the street with 17" DR's though and I'm afraid of stressing out an axle on the twisties that I take come times. Good rear end though.

I'm using a MT ET Street Radial II 295/45/17 mounted on my stock WS-6 wheels with an overall Diameter = 27.2 for street strip use. Slick go on now for some 8 sec runs. Last time I ran the DR's at the track, I overpowered the DR's shifting from 2nd to 3rd. They spun then hooked again without me letting off. I don't think they can take the new power unless the track is completely prepped and seasoned.
The only thing on the highway I can complain about is the fact that I can't downshift to get into the boost because I'm afraid of damaging the trans.

What intake and fuel are you running? Seems like a stout setup. What does it weigh? Im doing a big single with either a PG or TH400 and will also have the same strange 12 bolt, there an awesome axle.

I've never weighed it but my estimate is about 3400-3500lbs. I weigh 287 so it's pretty heavy moving out.

Thanks. I was shocked when friends of mine bolted in a TH400 in place of their stock automatics and lost 100RWHP. Price you have to pay for having something stout in there. Should be interesting once I start coming out on boost this year on the launch.
