Default 2000 TA on a mustang dyno

It made 321rwhp and 320rwtq.

Mods are ls6 intake, zo6flywheel and clutch, bbk lt headers, bbk ory, magnaflow catback, ported and polished tb, bump stop, slp cai, a few tuning adjustments and it made peak power at 5500rpm. I thought it would be at a higher rpm but no big deal. I used to shift it at 6k at the track and now that I am shifting it at 5500 it's not performing like it should. It is what it is. These are with the 853 heads as well. Anyways maybe this will help someone else out.

Take care,
Troy

I was told the equivalent to a dynojet dyno is higher. Brian said it would be around 350-370 on a dynojet dyno. In any case, thanks Big3 and thanks Brian!

its your stock cam, your stock cam will peak around 5300 until you change it that is about where it will peak.

Mustangs read about 20hp/tq lower from what ive seen and experienced unless they did some correcting, etc.

I dont lke mustangs although they are ok for tuning. Our local guy first said they set it to dynojet equivalent, then they said few months later it was mustang calibration.
Then they said they set it to where it "felt right".WTF? I didn't do my car there as said would only tune on it wouldn't even post the numbers but buddy added mods and it read lower and he was pissed.

Just take it to a dynojet if you want to compare to most other similar modded cars. And don't put the lame mustang dyno numbers in your sig.

I would still shift at 6k even if it peaked at 5500, as long as it didn't drop off at 5500.
