I find it humorous that Chevy and Ford flip-flopped the axles in their next generations... Chevy had the live rear axle, and the Mustangs had the IRS. A lot of Mustang drivers were switching to live axle's for autox/hpde/road racing duty. A lot of LS drivers inquired about an IRS and some found a method to fabricate a version. Sounds like Ford listened to their enthusiasts and Chevy was more concerned with appeasing a larger audience.

I heard at Lamotta Performance yesterday that they are having pressure plate problems shifting above 6300(?) in the 2011 5.0 at the track. Once the RPM's fall below ~6000, the pedal pops back up all by itself. A few other shops they know reported the same concern. They advised not bring the car to the dealer because Ford doesn't have a fix yet and Ford would merely hold onto the car until the fix is released.

There are some clutch issues. There is one drag racer/owner in GA who is currently working with Ford pinning down the problem and coming up with a fix.

Things sure were easier when it was a simple cable system....I like simple.

Me to! Maybe they will come up with a cable conversion.

Patrick, I meant to reply a while ago....this tune is the result of cam phasing on the intake and exhaust sides.

Well, not specifically. That one might be too close for comfort

And I doubt I'd just happen across one that has a 250 shot ready to fire.

Cams - when available - are almost certainly going to be quite expensive, especially at first.

and what, put 19's on instead? GM put too large of brakes on the rear of the camaro. Another benefit of having a lighter car, Ford was able to use smaller brakes on the rear of the 5.0 and still have better braking than the camaro.
