Default Huge thanks to Vengeance Racing.

Some of you may remember my last 416 that ended up putting down 575rw. I have two motors coming out soon. Another 416 N/A and a YSI charged 408 that I will have numbers on in the next month or so.

I do all of my own wrenching and tuning but I couldn't have done any of this with out the help of Ron, Mike, Mike and Trevor at Vengeance. These guys are the best in the business as far as I am concerned. They have never turned a wrench on any of my cars but treat every one of my builds like it is their own. Ron was the parts and ideas behind my 416 and Mike helped me with the tune and finding every last bit of power. They have been absolutely steller to deal with for the last three plus years. Any issue I have they are on top of. If one of their vendors drops the ball they take care of on their dime. It is seamless on my side. Some times I make mistakes and change my mind and they roll with it. I can't do much to return all of their favors for me but they will always have my loyality as a customer and friend. Thanks alot guys and I will send any one I meet your way for sure.

From what I've read of them, if they would open a shop out west, they would have my business.

About your 416. I have the same basic setup, but only run 130's, 132 tops
MPH. I will be very surprised if you can back that engine up. Most 416s and 427s for that matter don't perform at that level. Good luck w/the N/A build up. I don't think you can go wrong w/the boosted engine.

Vengeance, when are you opening on the W Coast?

03EBZ06. That motor wasn't even done yet. It had more in it and was on a dyno that is constantly 10rwhp down to the one most people use around here. No EWP, no cut out, it was still pulling vacuum at WOT, and was dynoed with heavy aftermarket wheels. It was however completely assembled in my garage with the utmost care and attention to detail as was the last one. I spent a fair amount of time on the dyno with it as well. The one that just left has less cam and compression but the DCR is the same. It should be getting tuned soon so we will see what it does. I think it will make 540/500rw. But it is missing some critical parts too.

I can see some issues with your set up that are not maximised yet. It looks good but there are some areas for improvement. The Ti is hurting you and I had a maxed out 92 with no MAF. Plus, what is your altitude where you raced. I was only at +300-500 the day I ran the 136 mph. I don't really remember. The car never trapped less that 134 and slower than 10.4 on a good day and has trapped as high as 137+.

Now the S/C motor is going to be crazy. 408, YSI @15psi, TFS heads, ported Fast, Fuel, COS 5 2bar, and meth. If I can dot all the I's and cross all the T's I think it can make 900+rw.

Bottlefed. What size motor and combo are you running to get 591/541rw? I am guessing 440.

You are correct! Its a 440LSX that Vengeance did. They did the complete install and tune. Just took it back down to the shop here at the end of May for some nitrous tuning.

They are a great bunch of guys. They did some work on my SS 408...swapped the AFR small bore 205s for some TFS 235s they had laying around (great deal on 'em), then tuned it. It idles great cold/hot/what ever. It picked up 50rwhp with the head swap. I had previously done all the work on the car and took it up for a tune...when Ron sold me on those TFS. They packaged up the AFRs and shipped them for me to the guy that purchased them out in Texas. They also stored the car for me while I was out of town (free)... You can't ask for better service!!!

Not writing you off bro. Just making some suggestions. I want every one to make the most they can. It is all about helping each other out. Good luck with it. You have a killer combo that should do every thing you want it to.

At the risk of sounding like a nutswinger, I too will add my 2 cents that Ron and all the guys at Vengeance are a great bunch of people to do business with. Before, during, and after the sale.

Just give Ron a call. I am sure if he has a used set that he can hook you up. The set I picked up was off of somebody's car that had a few track passes and they upgraded from the TFS235s, so he offered them to me since I had the small bore 205s. I was already considering an upgrade but did not want to go new...and the timing was perfect when I dropped the car off for a tune.

Fear is the operative word for the FI motor. It will be fun when I get it done, more likely scary as hell. These are customer cars by the way. Neither are mine. So I have to get them perfect. There is alot of work going into this thing. I had a Procharger on my Z for a while that made 630+rw at 10lbs and around 700rw on 13lbs but that car is nothing like this one. I will be glad when I get it done and every thing is correct.
