It's interesting. I have modeled a couple prety radical motors for a couple guys. They did not provide me with their engine dyno sheets unitl after I put it all together in the program. These two radical small blocks were with in 2% through the entire curve compared to the program.

One of them for example:
4.165 bore 4.00 stroke
13.29 compression
255/273 .819/.799 cam
heads flow 365/264 @ .800 lift.

EA said it would make 647ftlbs @ 5,600 and 790hp @ 6,800.. Here is a link to his engine dyno results: http://www.small-block-chevy.com/434dyno.htm

Is it always dead on.. No, garbage in = garbage out. Is it a decent program to give you a good idea of what might work, yes.

Would you be able to tell me what the difference would be between 13/4 17/8 stepped header to a straight 17/8 header of the same length.

If you want to pm me all the details of your build, I can throw it in for you. But I want ALL the details:

Bore/stroke
Compression
Head flow data
All the perticulars of the cam, .050 durations, lift, intake center and lsa, if you degreed it differently than straight up.
Intake, TB
Headers, tube size and length, type of collector
Accesories
Fuel (91, 92, 100 octane)
Opperating temp

Anything and everything you can provide.

Seems to have issues with ground, another thing, the wire sizes they use its like 16 gauge wire for all outside connections, where it should be no smaller then 8 gauge.

I found someone with same issue, they had it occur when they moved battery to trunk. When its grounded directly back to the battery with decent gauge wire seems to have no issues.

For WOT runs its a decent setup.

Hmmm. My battery is in the boot, so with a decent gauge wire do you think it would handle 7500 rpm with 11.5 comp. Im yet to decide which way to go.was thinking about using KUP distributer setup with a crank trigger.

I am trying to recall what we needed to do to make my MSD box rev on the dyno. We only went too 6600 rpm though.

Doug's seems to be pulling up top better than mine did on the dyno. I did not have near as nice of an induction as you do. I had the GM single plane unported with an 850 for break in.

Looking forward to seeing the Orange thumper prowling the streets.

I dyno'd that car today...

440ls7, heads cam. Stock intake and throttle body. 547RWHP and 480Tq.

Is the stock intake holding it back?

For sure it's holding you back. My heads and cam 441 LS7 makes 568 rwh and 525 rwt through an A4 with Ford 9 inch and a Fast 102 and 100mm TB.

So the plan is finally starting to come together, fab 9" with aluminum center section and wave track diff installed, Recaro topline seats installed, set of airbags for the rear springs to get rid of the bottoming out, 16 sheets of dynmat installed, trans rebuilt to viper specks, Zr1 clutch on order, switch out the poly motor mounts for stock so no more anoying buzz and now just have to install and tune the 440 to pull everything around and we should be good.

Is the car a auto? The tq seams low on it. I did a 440 in a c6z06 2 years ago that did 591whp through a slightly ported ls7 intake.

Somehow the posts have become confused, my AES 442 is still on the stand. Just got the clutch tonight so we will be putting in an effort to get most of it wrapped up this weekend. There is still alot of work to do on the suspension and also relocating the coil packs.
Oh and my car is a M6

OJ, sorry our posts got mixed up, I didnt mean to clutter up the thread! Just not a ton of bigger cube info on this site. Cant wait to see what yours does
