Exactly what he said....

Either I orderd the wrong pump or they sent me the wrong one, either way, i still dont have the pump i need, and because i "opened" the box, Racetronix WILL NOT refund me or at the very least exchange my pump kit for a correct one for my car. Needless to say I'm very disappointed with thier customer service. I will be calling someone in regards to this matter, but have been working tons and havent had the chance. The times i do keep trying to call i get a voicemail that is full. I know...FML right?

The driveability on this cam is pretty good, just like any other large cammed car, you will get some surge, but very minimal. The car does like being above 1500rpms.

Once i get this pesky and very frustrating problem taken care of, I'll go back to Patrick's again, prolly the same day Dmoney takes his, and get some solid numbers for you guys.

I apologize for the long wait guys, noone wants to see the numbers this setup will produce more than me, trust me!

Stocks, Patrick told me they'd work fine with my setup, no real need for bigger ones. Maybe once i upgraded the heads.

Yea, its a kit for just '98 cars with the metal tank. I honestly thought i ordered the right one for my car, I opened the box to inpect the pump, and saw it wouldnt work on my car. Emailed Matt from Racetronix a.s.a.p. and he said he wouldnt be able to to refund me my money or send me a correct pump kit. He said he would only be able to refund me my money on the harness kit, and ONLY if i hadnt opened the bag it came in.

So.....yea.

thats seems bad. i mean i can understand a restocking fee, but they arent even giving you that option. looks like i wont be doing business with them if i ever need a pump.

Wow! Thats pretty gay. I could see if you used it for them to not take it back but to just look at it and them refuse is pretty crazy.Hopefully you can get it sold and get the correct pump. Hopefully after going through all of the crazy stuff to get your car to 100% you will be pleased with the results.

Yes, gay indeed, and im not even exagerating about just taking it out of the box, looking at it in my living room, then putting it back in the box. You can even ask Marine02ss on here, he was here at my house helping me do the flap mod to remove the stock pump faster threw the hatch area.

Well guys, got awesome news today! Was told by a mod to contact Thunder Racing to see if they could help. Man did they! Gene from Thunder Racing provided awesome customer service, they way it should be, and I will be shipping my WRONG pump kit to them and they will be resending me the correct pump kit for my car. Isnt that awesome? These guys went out of their way to get me the right pump. I'd highly recommend anyone to order from Thunder Racing then directly from Racetronix any day outta the week.

I hope to be sending this pump kit out by tomorrow if not first thing monday morning, and wait for my kit to come in once they've received mine.

^ That's nice of Thunder Racing to step up like that and help you out. Booh on Racetronix for being a pain in the *** like that.

uncool points to Racetronix not taking care of you. Fantastic news Thunder Racing is helping you. I've always like Thunder Racing.

I'm anxious to see your results as I have EPS cam also with stock 243 heads. I'm waiting for my new NGK O2 sensors to arrive so I can dyno tune mine. I'm trying to gauge what to expect from your results.
