Well what can I say. Big Thanks to Geoff from EPS for recommending me this camshaft, it definetly performs as he said it would. PatrickG and Kurt were very helpful and patient with me and my fuel issues, the drivability on the car is pretty awesome for the size of them cam I'm running. I'd highly recommend for anyone in Texas to take thier cars to Kurts shop for anything automotive, guys know what they're doing. I will be heading back there for some other little upgrades here and there in the near future. All in all I'm pretty damn happy with the results for it being a cam only car. My best with my previous cam was 11.6, lets see what this cam has in store for me.

My apologies for taking so long to get the final numbers, I have a very demanding job.

He is still having fuel issues, but not as severe as last time. Fuel pressure is dropping to 42psi at WOT. You can see on the graph when AFR went lean (6000 and up) the power dropped off. So Steve has a little work to do to find his fuel pressure loss, even after installing the racetronix pump.

But the car still has a little more left in it, once it can get enough fuel up top. Maybe mid 440 range.
Nice numbers! Is there a Youtube link to this most recent dyno run(s) ?

Great Job, great results.

As for the fuel issue, it has a pump, was it hotwired? could make a huge diff. My first thought is injectors but is the PSI is dropping off, it could either be not enough voltage or the pump is having issues.

Any Duty Cycle % data??

Not sure on the duty cycle %, I'd have to have Patrick or Kurt chime in on that, but my pump is brand spanking new and i have the hotwire kit at home. Just havent had the time to slap it on, although Patrick told me that he doubts it is that.

Just because a part is "New" does not mean it cannot be faulty. I do not know what the starting PSI for the fuel was while the car will idling, or even rolling into 3rd gear but if your have a signifigant drop upon WOT, then there is an issue.

With this combo, it should not be demanding fuel like a FI car. so its either a Volume or Pressure issue and like said I would still throw the Hotwire kit on there as it does help for the peak fuel demand situations such as WOT.

FAST intake, so I'd say 415-420 neglecting that. Good numbers.

Umm like as in the dyno gives out more numbers than it should? I've never had people say thier car dynoed less or more than it normally should at Kurts dyno.

No ****... good job man. I've been waiting for you to answer about the heads. I was assuming this was a LS6 block! Hmmm.... this may do really well with my C5Z.

I have a few more questions.... what kind of paint did you use on the intake? It looks really good with the factory black. If it is powder, I didn't know you could powder plastic. Was the Fast 90 ported?

Thanks!

those are really nice numbers. Geoff is doing me a max effort race cam for my Nova soon. Ill be replacing a Futral cam that is for a 383 and i stuck in my 347 to get it running. Should be a big difference off the line where my car has no bottom end grunt.

He is doing me a 238/250-.110lsa 106 cl around .600 lift.
