Default New Ride, wait before Dyno?

Just scooped up a 2010 Grand Sport, want to baseline the car before winter hits but heard different stories about Dyno numbers and mileage on new cars. Can someone clarify? Would like a proper baseline as I will be modifying the car in incriments, documenting gains each step of the way.

How many miles? Change the oil and put it on the dyno

Your fine, if anything significant was to happen it would have happened before the car hit the lot. I would personally change the oil and then strap it on the dyno.

yea theres about a million different break in theories but no matter what you choose, you will see a higher number after the car gets a few thousand miles on it

I put C6 ZO6 with 40miles on the dyno numbers were a little low but no problems at all.

car amde 432rwhp after some mileage and Full exhaust / CAI and tune made 490rwhp

Thats what I was talking about. Not worried about break-in, etc... Just heard numerous times that cars dyno low when fresh from the dealer. Will certainly change the oil before doing so... friggin dry-sump

You can save $90 by changing your own oil. The dealership is going to charge you $150 and more than likely crack your rocker panel doing it, get some jacking pucks you'll need them.
