Great numbers.
He spec'd me mine originally on a 112+2. I opted for a 114. Curious to see your numbers. Keep me posted.

Well I picked up 38.9rwh with the cam. The 112lsa should make 5-8 more peak HP where the 114 won't peak out as much but deliver a bit more in the low/mid range. Not a huge difference. I'm really liking the smooth idle and mild tone. I wanted somewhat of a sleeper. It idles right about 650-700 when warm. I've been playing with it at different speeds/gears and haven't noticed any surging. Overall, it's a great street cam that makes power all over the board and the top end is ridiculous.

What size stall you going with? I recommended a Yank SS3600. I ran that stall in my A4 w/ 3.73's and a AI cam comparable to a CC503. Yank stalls work well with street applications and you would never know it was in there under normal driving conditions. Contact Dave at Yank...super nice guy.

Got ya. A set of Trickflow 220cc heads would compliment your set up very nicely

Yeah those would be nice. I haven't done much research on what heads would best suite my set up. Look into that sometime soon.

You got that backwards, the 114 will peak higher and have less low end torque or at least moved up the RPM band. The 112 is the torquey one but lower peak RPMs. The higher the LSA moves the torque and power to to the right on the dyno graph. You can make almost the same power but just at a different RPM.

Hummm interesting. I was told otherwise by a well known builder/tuner on here. I've got emails to prove it to. If this is true, I am sitting on a cam that I ultimatly do not want.

Yeah, I had it explained to me the same as Bruce. By someone reputable on here as well. Not mentioning any names but man....kinda pisses me off because I would have gone with a 112 overt the 114. Either way it's still a strong running cam that puts out good power.

Have you looked into maybe doing a Fast 90/90 combo or a 102?

Very nice numbers! I put down 378whp and 369 torque on a mustang dyno with 3.73 gears and a 221/221 561./ 561. lift 114+4LSA and LS6 heads.

Can't wait to see what my 224/228 581/588 lift. 114LSA cam will do with this current head set up.

TJ Wong is a great guy, glad to hear your happy with your results. I hope to be very close to 400whp with the new set up.

Thanks man. So who is grinding your up coming 224/228 cam? That cam isn't much bigger then your current 221/221 cam and will only be good for a few more HP...you should look in to the EPS cams. They work in series of 4's, 222/226, 226/230, 230/234 etc etc..Me personally, I would step up to a bigger cam then the 224/228. Or are you trying to keep it emissions friendly? If no emissions then I would consider doing a 230/234 on a 113 or 114lsa EPS lobe cam. It will have good street manors and pull like a mother. You would easily be in the 400's w/ that.

You should have went the other way for an M6...

Great results though! I was curious to see how this worked out for you.

Because the powerband of a narrower LSA suits an M6 better, you met your goal though so it's not really a big deal.
