Angry My first dyno...

Should I be sad or proud of this?... I'm kinda sad but all I know is Chevron 91 octane f'ing sucks. Pings like mad. Maybe have to go to 100 Octane when I'm racing.. anyhow, enjoy =/.

if your an A4 its about right, and dont bother running any octane higher than 94 because thats as high as are computers can read. just try a diferent brand.

Those are pretty good numbers for an A4 with your mods.

thats a disturbing dyno. I'd suggest inspecting your spark plugs, they should be in really bad shape if its detonating that bad to make that muss.

There is a few things you can do.
Do not take out the MAF screen!!
Change plugs to NGK TR55
Use GM topend cleaner to clean off the pistons..
Check PVC system for oil in the intake.

Do those steps and you should be alright.

I'm not about to try to pull the intake myself.. anyone in South Cali have some spare time and willing to help a beginner learn? >_< Spark plugs... have to check on those too. I just mainly need help... I'm all muscle car going from normal SB400 to LS1 is way hard :o(. Thanks for the help guys. I reall appreciate it. Any idea of possible numbers without homo detonation?

We'll i'll one up something seems wrong, to I wouldn't drive that **** down the road 10 feet. If it was oscillating like that on the dyno. Thats a REALLY SERIOUS issue if your dyno looks like that. I'd go get my tuner and put a 9mm to his head if my car dyno'ed like that.

Only time that might be acceptable is if i was hitting the limit of the dyno like 1000wft/lbs and the tires were spinning, but that car is SICK.

Keep pounding on it, and wonder why the pistons split in half man.

serious. Go to the dyno archive and look for other dyno's like that you won't find any.

Your problem is not that serious. The things I listed above are simple to do.By the way the graph looks, you should be feeling that while driving.
When's the last time you got a tuneup on your car?How many miles on it?
