Might want to check your rear end gear ratio, never heard of a 3.60 for the GTO. Might also want to look in to a Svede intake, and a real exhaust system with a crossover. You're cutting corners on some of the easiest HP to make with these cars.

The rear isn't from the GTO. I think the stock rear gears in a 240sx are 3.60. He said the motor and trans are from a GTO.

i have a friend who dynod tsunami cam ONLY, stock ls6 heads and intake, and made 410/380.. so your number seem low with those heads

This car is low on power and tq bad. Combo is everything my friend. Like my catback sucks,it's a b&b tryflow. I gained 30hp from a open cutout. I would like to see more of this head in different builds to see how it does.

Alrighty. so this is out of an import car w/ a r200 rear end.
hence the 3.6's

the exhaust was just 1 3/4 headers with 2 glasspack's to a turndown. with no x/h pipe

the new exhaust is dual 3 inch with a x pipe to dual 3 inch out tailpipe.

i have yet to do compression test as we are repairing a few things on the car after our rear end blew out. will most likely end up going w/ a fast and new TB as i feel that is one of the restrictions we still have. Also will end up getting a slp pulley and tensioner as the first time out on track we destroyed the factory serpentine belt.

will post more information afterwards.


here is an image of the new exhaust.
the muffler is a magnaflow X muffler




And..here is a picture of the intake..

it is a 90 degree 4 inch elbow w/ reducer to 3.5 with 3.5" pipe to filter
