Good news everyone I just found out I could use my military star card for ordering tires online, so I ordered some Nitto NT05R's in 275/40/17s!! Wooohooo. I hope to have them mounted by Saturday and back to the track. The goal for this weekend is 126mph trap speed with air filter out, chrs1313 lower ram air extension piece added, better 60ft, and powershifting. Thanks for the comments everyone.

You won't be disappointed! They are great guys there for sure. The best way and quickest in my experience to get ahold of them is email because they don't have a secretary etc.

Nitto 555r's were bald and down to about 12psi on my last pass. Air filter was still in and I didn't powershift at all because I was just trying to make a clean pass for the day. I'm happy with the results and after deployment hopefully I'll have a 9" under it with some 4.30s or 4.56s and 28" tires.

I am having one of my buddys upload the video to youtube and then I'll post a link here.
Nice times considering the fragile 10 bolt and 60' That 9 in is a perfect match for your combo.

If you go 28 in. tire get the 4.56's, if you get 4.30's I think a 27 would match up well and my look a bit better under your car..

Either way its got 10's in it with a hard launch on a 9in. and good gears!!!

Great numbers, and nice job backing them up at the track! That car has to be fun as hell on the street too.

Awesome car and awesome mph!

What are your mods for weight reduction?

I was thinking you should be closer to 126-127 with that power, race weight, and DA.

Spare tire/jack, A/C, front sway bar, windshield washer reservoir, air system all removed. For the track I took out the passenger and rear seats and put skinnys on the front weighing about 28-29lbs with tires each. Car raceweight was 3250ish without me. I weigh 205lbs.

I'm going back this weekend to a different better hooking track. Keep in mind that was my only clean pass I was able to make before I wasn't comfortable running on the tires I have. I'm sure it has some more in it. I'm also going to adjust my Tick closer to the floor for faster shifts in addition to the other stuff I mentioned.

Must have been the 4 degrees of advance that got you. I just put one in a 98 with the xer lobes that was 234/238 .598/.605 on 110 LSA straight up and i had over .100 PTVC on both.

You have any luck hooking at coastal Plains?

I went to Fayetteville today due to coastal having an event and no test-n-tune.. I snapped my driveshaft on my first pass trying to launch.. I guess with the better tires and stickier track it was too much for the rear and probably flexed causing ds to screw up.. sucks cuz I was 125 miles away from home and had to have it towed to my shop.

My next time at the track I will be out with a vengeance. MWC 9" and 3.5" PST DS and other goodies are definitely on the top of my list now.

I've seen several people break aluminum stock driveshafts at the track, one of my buddies broke one on the street during a hard launch

I don't think any damage was done to anything except the driveshaft.. I turned the car off about 2 seconds after it broke and my shop didn't mention anything either. But I will call tomorrow to make sure. It got a new driveshaft the day after it happened but I'm deploying sometime this week anyways.
