2nd LSX dyno: 15 rwhp
This car is a 02 WS6 , Patriot 5.3L Stg 2 heads, TSP 231/237, 6-spd, 3.42 gear 10 bolt, ls6 intake, mac headers, off road y-pipe, bassani catback
Car put down 405 rwhp previously....
Im putting a cutout in it right now as well and we are going to before dyno it with the cutout now, and try the stock MAF against the SLP maf we have...
This customer only has a diablo predator with custom tunes so I cant ls1edit fine tune it....but we will see what we can get out of it, just sent over the email to johan to get a new tune for this setup, hopefully they can put it close....
The car was down on power @ 405 before so we are going to try to get it up with the cutout and try the stock MAF out...before we throw the lsx on today and post dyno results
UPDATE:
Ok all done.....Got the car off the dyno about 3 hrs ago... Time to share some more knowledge with the ls1 community.
The car make 395 today (the tune has been changed and I didnt care for it much, but its all we had). Opened the cutout got 403 rwhp.
LSX intake swapped, RWHP went straight to 420 rwhp and stayed right there despite any attempt to get some more out of it....torque also was up everywhere across the band, with a peak of 11 rwtq, it held more torque everywhere... We made a few changes on the predator and didnt get anything out of it. I dont think anymore gain was to be had until we get ls1edit or the new Diablo Custom tune in the car...
LSX Dyno gain this time was 15 rwhp
But this is with the car still strapped to the dyno, many cars computers relearn alot after some mileage has been driven, so i would suggest driving around the car quite a bit after the intall, and the a/f might come back inline where it should be on its own...
