cam was designed to max out the stock head clearance, so any unmilled heads that retain stock height should work. if its not stock heads or deck has been resurfaced i would check it. thats just my opinion.

i think its about time to stop the back and forth stuff and call a truce. its gettin old.
btw, when you laughed because i guess the differnce between v.1 and v.2 wrong. i really wasnt wrong. read jasons other post in the other trex thread. he said the intake was the same and the exhaust was smaller, which was exactly what i had said. just though id clear that up for old time sake.

I would say any head that hasn't been shaved/milled on the bottom (which makes it closer to the block...in turn moves valves closer the block when they move down to open and close) therefore raising compression. LS6 heads have slightly higher compression but its not due to milling its due to the combustion chamber size which has no major effect on PTV. Any head that is higher compression than stock that isn't milled will be fine (such as patriot performance heads will work fine, because they weld combustion chambers smaller)

I would not say any aftermarket head that is unmilled. You have to think about larger valves also. I would check PTV with any aftermarket head. Just my .02

I want to see track times :-) If it makes 450 peak RWHP and runs a low 12's high 11's well?? hehe but if this ends up running low 11's or high 10's then worth every penny.

considering im already at the bottom of the 12's with nittos, i dont think you have to worry about it running that. with my new gears/tires and weight reduction im hoping to break 10's
