Im a Chevy guy, but always loved raw power period. My props to Ford for coming out with another big dawg. Do you guys remember the old 351W? Still today that thing can be one sickbitch. From the earlier years I have always loved the 5.0 the SOUND is awesome, the drivetrain loss, and weight of the old fox bodies is pretty admirable. We have some WICKED ones down in my hometown. (Ford engineers were gettin pretty high when they took the stang to that 4.6 crap) Some are putting LSX motors in the old FOX others are 347s and so on. An awesome car to turn into a dragster almost as awesome as the Vegas (for drag) weight and short drivetrain...

This is just my props to Ford. Someone in this thread said its no fun with no competition. I have seen the engeneering for the LSX motors over the years put about 200HP on what the 97 ls1 was doing. I expect the same from Ford. LOOKIN FORWARD TO IT...

I am not saying this because of any sour apples nor to boast on GM but to me until the 427 Lingenfelter TT is toppled... GM IS the heavyweight champ of the STREET!!!

Please dont take that the wrong way.

My post is still to give Ford props. I expect with induction for that new 5.0 to be a beast.

I am a fan of FAST cars that you can enjoy all day and drive anywhere.
