I not looking to stir the pot just wondering if it isn't more cost effective to go with BBC setup then sticking with the lsx. Is the lsx iron block significantly lighter then BBC or is there some other reason?

LSX is much smaller engine overall and yes lighter than any BBC.

I like big blocks as well but might as well really be big if you go there like 632.
